Apple LC 475 [ Apple LC 475] Condition: working, stored
- build-in 3.5 inch floppy-drive (1)
- Internal Quantum 250Mb SCSI HD

- External Apple 12" monochrome monitor (M1050).
- OS: Mac OS 8.1
The system works again after replacing the battery on the main-board.
The problem was a system that didn't boot anymore. After the usual sequence of
blinking keyboard leds, the 'pling' sound and harddisk-activity, the system
stopped booting.
These symptoms are in some way similar to the ones described at
http://www.sover.net/%7Ejams/Classic_Mac_Workshop/battery.html
(page doesn't seem to exist anymore).
I ordered the
(SAFT 3.6V LS 14250) which is the battery used in this specific Mac.
After replacing the battery, the system appears to function normally, though
I didn't test the network-card and floppy-drive yet.
I realize that this might be related to the problems I had with the Mac II.
